As big announcement looms, King James to host over 100 top high school and college players in Las Vegas.

Will LeBron James stay in Miami, return to Cleveland or sign with a dark horse like Dallas, Houston, Phoenix or the Lakers?

NBA insiders looking for a scoop may want to cozy up to one of the nation's best high school basketball players later this week in Las Vegas.

King James is expected to be in attendance for the annual LeBron James Skills Academy, which begins Wednesday and runs through Saturday in Sin City.

The event features 80 top high school prospects and 30 collegiate standouts. The Skills Academy also falls within the first NCAA-approved live period of July, meaning a cast of star college coaches will also be in attendance.

Though James has been mum, the timing of the event will stir speculation. His legendary nationally-televised 2010 pledge to the Heat came one day after the conclusion of the Skills Academy — held that year in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Rosters for the event have not been announced. Past participants include Anthony Bennett, Aaron Gordon, Stanley Johnson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Doug McDermott, Emmanuel Mudiay, Shabazz Napier, Nerlens Noel, Jabari Parker, Julius Randle and Andrew Wiggins.
