Basketball Recap: Morristown Comes Up Short

Morristown lost against Chatham back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Morristown Colonials lost to the Chatham Cougars on the road by a 60-46 margin. While losing is never fun, the Colonials can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Cougars are ranked fourth).

Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Chatham, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

While Morristown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
