Waynesboro has gone a perfect 4-0 against West Perry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Waynesboro has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 6th.

On Tuesday, Waynesboro came up short against Greencastle-Antrim and fell 6-1.

Emma Bradley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Rylee Miller made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, West Perry was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to Boiling Springs.

West Perry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebekah Gustafson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Waynesboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for West Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Waynesboro hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like West Perry struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Waynesboro beat West Perry 8-5 when the teams last played on April 6th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
