Softball Recap: Rosewood Eagles vs. Hobbton Wildcats
Rosewood waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Hobbton Wildcats with a sharp 13-4 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in March.
McCandless St John made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one double.
