Soccer Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

The St. Anthony Saints lost 4-1 to the El Monte Lions on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as St. Anthony were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Andres Mendoza, which was the first he's scored this season.

St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for El Monte, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Anthony will venture away from home to square off against St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for El Monte, they will head out to face off against Beckman at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
