West Aurora is a perfect 7-0 against Larkin since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Blackhawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Royals at 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, West Aurora didn't have quite enough to beat Plainfield Central and fell 3-1. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Larkin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against Harvest Christian Academy on Saturday as they made off with a 17-3 win.

West Aurora's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Larkin, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

West Aurora beat Larkin 14-11 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blackhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
