Basketball Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy Storm vs. Elbert County Blue Devils

The Providence Christian Academy Storm will head out on the road to take on the Elbert County Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Providence Christian Academy is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since January 13, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Commerce by a score of 56-54.

Meanwhile, Elbert County played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Rabun County, falling 91-64. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

Providence Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Elbert County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Providence Christian Academy strolled past Elbert County when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 81-65. The rematch might be a little tougher for Providence Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
