Volleyball Game Preview: Miami Beach Hi-Tides vs. Mourning Sharks

The Miami Beach Hi-Tides will face off against the Mourning Sharks at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mourning will be up against a hot Miami Beach team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Hi-Tides' way against Hebrew Academy on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Miami Beach walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18, 25-16.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mourning walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulls on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Mourning's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Miami Beach, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Everything went Miami Beach's way against Mourning in their previous meeting back in March, as Miami Beach made off with a 3-0 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Sharks' Matthew Figueroa, who had 23 digs.
