Volleyball Recap: Pembroke Takes a Loss

After flying high against Plymouth South on Friday, Pembroke came back down to earth. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Duxbury Dragons on Monday. The Titans have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Pembroke was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.

Pembroke's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Duxbury, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pembroke will face off against rival Quincy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Duxbury is set to challenge their familiar foe Plymouth North at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
