Football Game Preview: Plainfield Cardinals vs. Piscataway Chiefs

It was a proper cat-fight when Plainfield faced off against Linden on Friday. The Cardinals pulled ahead with a 28-27 photo finish over the Tigers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piscataway). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Monroe Township 36-0. The win continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won seven in a row.

Plainfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Piscataway, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
