Basketball Game Preview: South Gallia Rebels vs. Northwest Mohawks

The South Gallia Rebels will head out on the road to challenge the Northwest Mohawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six losses in a row dating back to last season, South Gallia turned things around against Southern on Friday. They came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 57-49. The Rebels' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Northwest didn't have too much trouble with Whiteoak on Monday as they won 53-39.

South Gallia's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Northwest, their record now sits at 5-3.

Things could have been worse for South Gallia, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-50 loss to Northwest in their previous meeting back in February. Can South Gallia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
