Basketball Recap: East Davidson Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

East Davidson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost to the North Davidson Black Knights at home by a 56-39 margin on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Black Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

North Davidson found their leader in sophomore Angela Fosso, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten steals. Kendall Mabe was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

Coming up, East Davidson is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Davidson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union Grove Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
