Soccer Game Preview: Pearsall vs. Pleasanton

Pearsall is 0-6 against Pleasanton since February of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Mavericks will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pearsall's offense. They came up short against Uvalde on Tuesday, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that Pearsall have lost by exactly ten goals.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton entered their tilt with Uvalde on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) 5-1. Considering Pleasanton have won seven matches by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pleasanton's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2. As for Pearsall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Pearsall might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Pleasanton when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Mavericks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
