Baseball Recap: Bangor Slaters vs. Northern Lehigh Bulldogs

Bangor won the last time they faced Northern Lehigh and things went their way on Monday too. The Slaters walked away with an 8-4 win over the Bulldogs.

Jacob Labar looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That hit was his first of the season.

At the plate, Dylan Keith was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. He has become a key player for Bangor: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 0-5-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Koza, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bangor lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Bangor picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-6-1. As for Northern Lehigh, they moved to 4-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
