Baldwin won the last time they faced West Nassau, and Nyrie Gabriel did her part to make sure it happened again. The Baldwin Indians came out on top against the West Nassau Warriors by a score of 35-22 on Friday thanks in part to Gabriel, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. Those 12 rebounds gave her a new career-high.
Baldwin now has a winning record of 5-4. As for West Nassau, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will venture away from home to take on Palatka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Nassau, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hilliard at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
