Volleyball Recap: Gallup Find Success

After losing to Laguna Acoma the last time they met, Gallup decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bengals walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bengals.

Gallup was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Gallup now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Laguna Acoma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coming up, Gallup will face off against Navajo Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laguna Acoma, they will take on Pine Hill at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
