Ashe County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Elkin Buckin' Elks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

Ashe County can attribute much of their success to Ali Conner, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Conner a new career-high.

Conner wasn't the only good servers: Ashe County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in six consecutive matches.

Ashe County's record now sits at 24-7. As for Elkin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Ashe County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against North Wilkes on the 15th. As for Elkin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Murphy on the 18th.
