Recap: Chandler Lions vs. Holdenville Wolverines
The Chandler Lions lost against the Holdenville Wolverines back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Chandler was dealt a 67-28 loss at the hands of Holdenville. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chandler in their matchups with Holdenville: they've now lost five in a row.
Bella Smith was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 21 points. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cylee Null, who scored 12 points.
Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Holdenville, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chandler will take on McLoud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holdenville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stroud at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Holdenville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
