Softball Recap: Fike Takes a Loss

Fike lost against West Johnston back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Demons came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-2. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fike saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Vincent, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Fike's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for West Johnston, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Fike is taking a road trip to challenge C.B. Aycock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Johnston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Lenoir at 12:00 p.m. on the 19th.
