Baseball Game Preview: Mastery Warrior vs. Westampton Tech Panthers

For the second straight game, Mastery will face off against Westampton Tech. The Warrior will venture away from home to challenge the Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.

Mastery is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight games dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 17-5 to Westampton Tech.

For Westampton Tech's part, David Torres made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Torres was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.

In other batting news, Jael Espinal Sanchez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Dominic Gore-Brown was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

The victory got Westampton Tech back to even at 1-1. As for Mastery, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mastery might still be hurting after the 17-5 loss they got from Westampton Tech in their previous matchup on Thursday. Can the Warrior avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
