Soccer Recap: Eudora Comes Up Short

After flying high against Maranatha Christian Academy on Tuesday, Eudora came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Louisburg Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked Eudora's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Eudora's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-3-2. As for Louisburg, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eudora is set to face off against their familiar foe Spring Hill on Thursday. Meanwhile, Louisburg will challenge rival Baldwin on Tuesday.
