Basketball Recap: Flat Rock Continues Road Dominance on Monday

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Flat Rock ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 58-52 victory over the Carlson Marauders. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Carlson's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Saavedra, who went 7 of 9 en route to 15 points and seven rebounds. Saavedra is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trent Ison, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 15 points and seven boards.
