Juab has gone a perfect 10-0 against North Sanpete recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wasps will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 3:00 p.m. Neither Juab nor North Sanpete posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Juab fell victim to Carbon and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Dinos by a score of 1-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wasps were not able to get on the board.

Corbin Buchanan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over 7.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

Canyon View hit North Sanpete with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks lost 8-2 to the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hawks have suffered since March 25th.

Aaron Costello made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

North Sanpete's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10. As for Juab, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-5.

Juab was able to grind out a solid victory over North Sanpete in their previous meeting back in March, winning 5-1. Will the Wasps repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
