Basketball Game Preview: Harleton Wildcats vs. Big Sandy Wildcats

The Harleton Wildcats will take on the Big Sandy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Harleton took a blow against Hawkins, falling 59-29. The Wildcats have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Big Sandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by Hawkins and fell 73-11. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1542nd, while the Hawks are ranked 305th).

Harleton's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-10. As for Big Sandy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.
