Basketball Recap: Wesson Victorious

Wesson hadn't done well against Franklin County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wesson Cobras came out on top against the Franklin County Bulldogs by a score of 36-27. This was a revenge game for the Cobras: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on January 7th, they had to take a 45-38 loss.

Wesson now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Franklin County, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing South Pike the next time they take the court. Wesson will head out to face South Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Franklin County will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
