Football Recap: Troup Skates Past Harleton with Ease

Troup never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past the Harleton Wildcats to the tune of 62-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Troup's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dee Hollie, who rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 102 receiving yards and one score. Hollie really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 90 yards. Josh Childress was another key signal caller, throwing for 272 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes.

Troup's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Harleton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Troup will be playing at home against Rusk at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Harleton, they will head out on the road to challenge Beckville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
