Basketball Recap: Guilford Park Comes Up Short

Guilford Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 62-40 to the Glenelg Gladiators. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gladiators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-35 back in December of 2024.

Guilford Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Glenelg, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

Guilford Park will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Annapolis at 6:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Glenelg, they will square off against Marriotts Ridge on Wednesday. Glenelg is facing Marriotts Ridge at the right time seeing as Marriotts Ridge is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
