Basketball Recap: Hettinger/Scranton Gets the Win

Hettinger/Scranton hadn't done well against Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils came out on top against the Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] Bulldogs by a score of 63-53. This was payback for the Black Devils, who suffered a 61-58 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win got Hettinger/Scranton back to even at 1-1. As for Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame], their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2.

After both having extra time off, Hettinger/Scranton and Belfield will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame], they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Belle Fourche at 7:00 p.m. on January 18, 2025.
