The Lyndon Tigers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Heritage Christian Academy Chargers. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Lyndon sitting on 14 straight victories and Heritage Christian Academy on three.

Lyndon put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against Osage City as Lyndon made off with a 58-36 victory. Given Lyndon's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Osage City is ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

In what's become a running theme this season, Heritage Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They put the hurt on Kansas City Christian School with a sharp 54-29 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Heritage Christian Academy has posted yet this season.

Heritage Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Landon Pittman, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Biruk Dietz, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Lyndon pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.15 points. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Lyndon skirted past Heritage Christian Academy 59-56 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Does Lyndon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Heritage Christian Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
