Softball Recap: Flippin Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Flippin's offense. They lost 21-0 to the Salem Greyhounds on Thursday. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Greyhounds recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Flippin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Peveto, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Peveto has hit this season.

Flippin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Salem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

As of now, neither Flippin nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
