Volleyball Game Preview: Braden River Pirates vs. North Fort Myers Red Knights

The Braden River Pirates will face off against the North Fort Myers Red Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Braden River didn't have quite enough to beat Bradenton Christian and fell 3-2. The Pirates have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Braden River started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 22-25, 25-16, 25-17, 16-14.

Meanwhile, North Fort Myers had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Mariner on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-11.

Braden River's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for North Fort Myers, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

Braden River beat North Fort Myers 3-1 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Red Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
