Basketball Recap: Clinton County Makes It 25 in a Row at Home

Clinton County won the last time they faced Metcalfe County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Clinton County Bulldogs blew past the Metcalfe County Hornets, posting a 78-51 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Clinton County pushed their record up to 26-2 with the win, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Metcalfe County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.
