            Football Recap: Ypsilanti Grizzlies vs. Jackson Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            
After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Divine Child, Ypsilanti was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They put the hurt on the Jackson Vikings with a sharp  50-28 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Grizzlies needed considering they were shut out in their previous   matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ypsilanti to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jaiden Warlick, who picked up 115 receiving yards and three  scores. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kyre Reid, who rushed for 107 yards and one  touchdown on only 12 carries.
 Ypsilanti was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 204  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jackson didn't  rushed for any rushing yards.

 Ypsilanti didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Reid,  Willie Bowles,  and  Mohammadsina Mohammadi picked up one apiece.
The  win  got Ypsilanti back to even at 2-2. As for Jackson, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the  loss, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ypsilanti is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Pinckney  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Jackson will  challenge  rival Tecumseh  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
