Baseball Recap: Pecos Panthers vs. Clayton Yellowjackets
Pecos had lost five straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped down to 8-10 to make it six. They fell 16-12 to the Clayton Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-5 back in March.

Emiliano Torres stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 3-for-5 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Clayton, they will challenge Santa Rosa at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 13.4 runs per game this season.
