Mercer Island has gone 9-1 against Juanita recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Islanders will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Ravens at 7:15 p.m. Mercer Island will be strutting in after a victory while Juanita will be coming in after a defeat.

Mercer Island had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 46-point drubbing they dealt Hazen on Friday. The Islanders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Highlanders 80-34. With the Islanders ahead 46-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Juanita was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 61-51 to Inglemoor.

Juanita's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mercer Island, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Everything came up roses for Mercer Island against Juanita in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-36 victory. Will the Islanders repeat their success, or do the Ravens have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
