Softball Game Preview: Glendale Prep Academy Griffins vs. Wickenburg Wranglers

The Glendale Prep Academy Griffins will venture away from home to take on the Wickenburg Wranglers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Glendale Prep Academy came up short against Arizona Lutheran Academy on Tuesday, falling 12-4. The Griffins have struggled against the Coyotes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Wickenburg didn't have quite enough to beat Miami on Monday and fell 3-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glendale Prep Academy fell to 2-1. As for Wickenburg, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Friday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Glendale Prep Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .582.
