There's no place like home for South Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Ironton Fighting Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pointers in their matchups with the Fighting Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

While South Point won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-14, 26-24.

Molly Adams paced South Point's offense, picking up 16 kills. Adams got some help from Gracie Carmon and her 27 assists.

South Point's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Ironton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

South Point will welcome Chesapeake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ironton, they will square off against Portsmouth West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
