Freeman is 9-1 against Riverside since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Scotties will take on the Rams at 12:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Freeman is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Colfax just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 6-2 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat Priest River on Tuesday and fell 4-2. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Riverside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Olson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Freeman's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Freeman got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Riverside by a conclusive 12-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scotties since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
