Basketball Recap: Coosa Valley Academy Takes a Loss

Coosa Valley Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Trinity Christian Eagles 71-29. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-18.

Coosa Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinity Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Coosa Valley Academy and Banks Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out to challenge Valiant Cross Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valiant Cross Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge.
