Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moore). They were the clear victors by a 27-10 margin over the Southern Trojans on Wednesday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 12-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Moore's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Southern, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Moore will head out to take on Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Southern, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Western at 6:00 p.m.
