Volleyball Recap: Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams Takes a Loss

Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Wasatch Academy Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss two weeks ago.

Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-22.

Wasatch Academy found their leader in sophomore Carlos Lopez, who had 17 digs.

Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Wasatch Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams will square off against Providence Hall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Marauders are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. After both having extra time off, Wasatch Academy and Carbon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Dinos will have lost three straight heading into Wednesday's game.
