Football Recap: John Ehret Comes Up Short

John Ehret fell victim to Chalmette and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Owls and fell 35-0. The Patriots lost against the Owls in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 30-20 score last time.

Chalmette was led to victory by Breez Wilson and Marion White. Wilson rushed for 73 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, while White rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

This is the second loss in a row for John Ehret and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, John Ehret will face off against Vandebilt Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chalmette, they will challenge Lakeshore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
