After flying high against San Fernando last Wednesday, Kennedy came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redondo Union Sea Hawks on Friday. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Redondo Union, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
