Milford is a perfect 3-0 against Mount Notre Dame since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will welcome Mount Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Milford is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Winton Woods on Monday as they made off with an 18-2 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kristine Ruehl made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last five matchups. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Gabby Jones was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lanie McCoy, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Milford hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Winton Woods struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Mount Notre Dame made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mercy McAuley on Wednesday. Mount Notre Dame blew past Mercy McAuley 10-1. Mount Notre Dame hasn't had any issues with Mercy McAuley recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Audrey Gildea spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Josie Broenner was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Pitzer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Milford's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mount Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Milford beat Mount Notre Dame 5-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2023. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do Mount Notre Dame have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
