Soccer Recap: Prosser Comes Up Short

While it was Prosser who put the first goals on the board on Tuesday, it was Quincy who put up more. The Mustangs fell just short of the Jackrabbits by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Prosser in their meetings with Quincy: they've now lost four in a row.

Alexis Guzman and Miguel Solis scored both of Prosser's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Prosser's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Quincy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Prosser will square off against Ellensburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ellensburg's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Quincy, they will challenge Othello at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
