Softball Recap: Brookwood Comes Up Short

Royall hit Brookwood with a four-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons fell 8-4 to the Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly four runs.

Emily Cunitz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-3. Reagan Muehlenkamp also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Brookwood is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9. As for Royall, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season.
