Baseball Game Preview: Empire Ravens vs. Sabino Sabercats

Empire is 0-10 against Sabino since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Ravens will look to defend their home field against the Sabercats at 6:00 p.m. Empire has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Empire lost 19-3 to Ironwood Ridge on Monday.

Empire saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Travis Linkous, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. The Ravens are 3-1 when Linkous posts two or more runs, but 5-10 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Sabino earned an 8-4 victory over Palo Verde on Friday. The Sabercats haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Empire's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Sabino, their victory bumped their record up to 2-10.

Empire couldn't quite finish off Sabino in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Ravens avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
