Basketball Recap: Fairfield Beats Bremen for Their Fourth Straight Win

Fairfield won the last time they faced Bremen and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fairfield Falcons managed a 47-43 victory over the Bremen Lions. The win was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won four contests in a row.

Despite the loss, Bremen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chase Devine went 7-for-14 en route to 19 points. Tyrus Graverson was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elkhart Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Fairfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bremen, they will face off against Concord at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bremen is facing Concord at the right time seeing as Concord is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
