Hornell won the last time they faced Wayland-Cohocton and Mia Nasca did her part to make sure it happened again. The Red Raiders blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Nasca, who had 23 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

While Hornell won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-22.

The win made it two in a row for Hornell and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Wayland-Cohocton, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hornell will challenge York at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they will take on Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
