Basketball Recap: Seaholm Takes a Loss

Seaholm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Stoney Creek Cougars, falling 51-26. The Maples were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Seaholm's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Stoney Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Seaholm has already played their next matchup (against Groves), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stoney Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-42 defeat against Ferndale on the 21st.
